What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin hair is hair that is 100% human hair, that’s never been colored or processed in any way. Virgin hair is usually dark in colour, and it will be very soft and silky. This hair can be dyed in any colour without causing damage. Hair that is light in color will most likely have been processed, and if it isn’t, the cost would be much higher than darker colors.

Virgin hair is completely unprocessed, and intact. To qualify as virgin hair, it must meet rigorous standards including: not been permed, dyed, colored, bleached, chemically processed in any way.

The primary factor to consider is whether the hair has been through any chemical process whatsoever.

All true virgin hair can also be called Virgin Remy hair. But all Remy hair is not considered to be virgin hair!

This hair is one of my favorites and blends well with multiple relaxed hair textures and ethnicities.

Use a heat protector when styling Peruvian straight hair. This hair will last long when properly cared for and will it typically does not frizz easily in humid temperatures.
